Nikon D90 Digital camera user reviews

"Pros: Nikon D90 Digital camera Good ISO range, amazing picture quality even at high ISOs. Easy aperture and shuter speed adjusting.

Cons: Bad built in flash. lens cover falls off sometimes.

Summary: All around very well built camera, easy to learn, easy to use. Great for low-light and night shots. Very nice LCD. Cheap for a camera of it's abilities. "

"Nikon D90 Digital camera may look a lot like its predecessor, the D90 is essentially an all-new camera on the inside. The D90's most talked-about feature isn't its sensor, continuous shooting performance, or anything like that. Rather, it's the fact that it's the first D-SLR with a movie mode -- and in HD, no less.

"Pros:Nikon D90 Digital camera has More functions than the Old D80, better than a D60. 3' LCD is very sharp, look great. Live view is a nice feature to have. Very fast AF with 11 Points. Fast adjustments on the fly. Image quality is unbelievable even at high ISO's.
Cons: Video needs improvement.
Other Thoughts: Do yourself a favor, buy this camera, you won't regret it. If you are a D70 user then this will be a nice upgrade for you, D80 users will like the added features, live viewand improved IQ.

    "Pros
Nikon D90 Digital camera is my fourth Nikon, it is without a doubt the best of all of them. These days the only way I make any money is through photography, the D90 really makes it easy. I thought my D60 was my best money maker, the D90 overshadows it.

Cons
Hmmm . . . that would be negative comments . . . the only thing I can think of is cost. Now that I think of it, that is the only thing anyone can really complain about when referring to Nikon. My first Nikon was in 1961, my complaint then was the same as now - the cost.

"I previously owned the D80 which is an excellent camera. I wanted to upgrade to the D90 for several reasons. Number one was the increase from 3 to 4.5 frames/sec. Next was the increased perfomance at high ISO since I like to shoot sports. Some of the other reasons I wanted to upgrade was the Live View and video recording capabilities. I also wanted a sensor that was capable of self cleaning. This camera did not disappoint me. I shot an indoor fencing tournament utilizing the increased frame rate and found the autofocus to be both fast and accurate. The lighting for the tournament was poor requiring me to shoot at ISO 2500 in order to stop the action. The images I obtained were spectacular with very little noise. I have only sampled the video and it seems to work fine, although the lenses will not autofocus during recording....that will probably be Nikon's next upgrade. Overall I am extremely pleased with this purchase and I highly recommend this camera
